thank you for joining us at parallel london 2016
Exactly four years on from the 2012 Paralympics, Parallel London invited everybody to come together at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in a national celebration of inclusion.
3,012 participants took part in five very different fun push/run challenges.
All ages. All abilities. No cut-off times. No excuses!
People ran, walked, wheeled, pushed and everything in between.
But that was not all. We made the most of the spectacular venue with a huge free family festival that drew a crowd of over 5,500 people.
We showcased the very best inclusive attractions and entertainment across technology, art and culture, food and drink, health and fitness and much more.
So whether you participated, volunteered, or simply enjoyed the free festival and cheered; thank you all for joining us at Parallel London 2016 for an unforgettable day out.
We are hard at work getting ready for Parallel London 2017 and over the coming days we'll be updating the website and sharing some of our favourite moments from Parallel London 2016.
In the meantime, we would really appreciate your feedback to help us make Parallel London 2017 bigger and bolder!

I want everyone to be able to make the most of everything the capital has to offer - in work, travel, leisure and sport. I’m delighted to see Parallel London bringing people of all ages and abilities together at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for its fun run and festival, breaking barriers and showcasing the capital’s wonderful diversity.”
