join us for parallel london 2017!

Exactly four years on from the 2012 Paralympics, the inaugural Parallel London in 2016 invited everybody to come together at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a national celebration of inclusion.

3,012 participants took part in five different fun push/run challenges.
All ages. All abilities. No cut-off times. No excuses!
People ran, walked, wheeled, pushed and everything in between.

But that was not all.  We made the most of the spectacular venue with a huge free family festival that drew a crowd of over 5,500 people.
We showcased the very best inclusive attractions and entertainment across technology, art and culture, food and drink, health and fitness and much more.

We will be announcing our date and venue for 2017 very soon!

Sadiq Khan, The Mayor of London

“As Mayor for all Londoners, I will do all I can to make our city the most accessible and inclusive place in the world. I want everyone to be able to make the most of everything the capital has to offer - in work, travel, leisure and sport. I’m delighted to see Parallel London bringing people of all ages and abilities together at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for its fun run and festival, breaking barriers and showcasing the capital’s wonderful diversity.”‎
